Other names for this mulberry soap recipe could be Bumbleberry, Mixed Berry, Tutti Fruitti, Berry Blitz, or Candy Soap. If you were to add Vanilla, it could be a Vanilla Berry soap. If you added Lemon essential oil, it could be Lemon Berry. Often with a scent blended soap like this, using bits of leftover soaps, end pieces or trimmings, could be added.
A Mulberry Soap recipe could be any blend of berry or fruit scents, with a little orange and cinnamon added.
This is a great way to use up those leftover bottles of assorted berry scents. Sometimes a fragrance oil is not what you expect, or it’s not too popular, so this way you can add a portion of that fragrance to other scents, and make something more synergestically appealing.
Mulberry soap recipe:
- Basic #2 recipe: (my favorite, more basic recipes here)
51.2 oz Olive/Canola blended oils
6.2 oz coconut oil
6.2 oz Palm oil
23.4 oz water
8.6 oz lye crystals - for this scented bar, add:
2 T of berry fragrance oils
2 T of orange essential oil
1 tsp cinnamon essential oil - colorant:
- 1/2 tsp each of colors that would be appropriate for the scent, ie: yellow for lemon, orange for orange.
For the above image, you would roll up those soap trimmings, and embed in your soap while it is still warm. Super easy way to add star quality to your soap without paying for anything extra.

A simple yet really colorful way to represent a mulberry scent could be like the image below. A nice solid color that just seems the scent combo nicely:
I must admit that our bumble-berry soap wasn’t a best seller, but it did sell, and it is an excellent way to use up leftover scents and soap bits. You could also sell this type of bar at a lesser price, but don’t mention using leftovers, lol, people want expensive, unflawed, top-ingredients-only type of bars, lol.
